About Meghan
MegExpressions sells one of a kind purses that have been handmade from recycled materials.
The craft medium has always been my passion--my sisters like to sing to me the song "The Girl's Crafty" by the Beastie Boys--and several years ago I decided to focus on purses.
The MegExpressions line works to stay true to my mantra that 'sweet is always in style', and many purses have pleats and bows and are made with bright colorful clothing.
Creating the purses from jeans and other recycled materials makes them durable and low-maintenance as well in that all the purses and accessories can be machine washed.
Creating one of a kind products continually takes me on a journey into the unknown, and I enjoy the process of using colorful clothing to 'paint with fabric'. Additionally, using materials that might otherwise have been discarded reminds me of how little we need to make something great.
The purses and accessories are designed to suit a variety of daily needs, and in doing so brings art into daily life. |
