Many of you have a photo in the Member Directory that says “My photo will be posted soon.” Back in the good old days, we used to crop your image for you. But then we thought it would save time if we let you crop your own photo. We sent around an email letting you know this, but many of you may have forgot to read it! So, we’re going to tell you how to crop your photo again!
If you have uploaded a photo to your profile, then that photo is already appearing in your profile. When you’re logged into your account and have clicked “Update my photo”, you will see something similar to the screen print at the right.
To crop your thumbnail, simply click on the square image at the top. This will open up a utility that you can move and stretch to cover the exact square that you want for your thumbnail. Once you’ve got the square in place, simply click “Upload Image”, and you’re all set! Your thumbnail will then appear in the Member Directory list.
It’s as simple as that!
