“Sales.” Even that word makes lots of people’s tummies churn.
If you are feeling queasy right now, you’re not the only one. Sales can have an “ick” factor for even the most seasoned entrepreneur!
And get this: I think I’ve figured out why.
Think about it for a moment: There are a set of values that motivate every aspect of your life. Do you know what those are? Let’s use my list of the values I live by as an example:

Yes, you’ve guessed it: This second list is words that are often associated with the world of sales.
And how many of your personal values overlap with conventional sales techniques? I’m guessing there’s a whopping ZERO!
No wonder sales feel icky! For most of us, they are totally discordant with the work we love to engage in, the actions we strive to exemplify, and the behaviors we work hard to emulate. They are not the values we stand up for.
Conventional selling is out of alignment with the soulful, spirited women that we are.
I felt this misalignment, ladies. I felt it so strongly.
I tried all sorts of techniques to fit myself into the “selling box” that was demonstrated by the world around me. When nothing worked, I resisted and pushed back. And then, after many years of struggling, I realized the truth: This model of selling wasn’t for me.
But I refused to be complacent. And now, after selling $100 million of real estate, I’m here with great news: there’s a different way to sell.
A way of selling that involves LEADING WITH YOUR HEART.
A way of selling that does NOT involve compromising your values, and your unique skills and passions.
A way of selling that grows your business from a platform of personal integrity and joy!
Now, I’m not saying that selling is always fun. There’s still long hours and hard work involved.
But hard work is a whole different ballgame when you’re doing work that’s in alignment with YOU and your business. Putting in the hours feels so much easier when you feel good about every step of the process.
Embarking upon a sales journey feels radically different when your sales values are the same values you hold for every area of your life.
