Each year we assemble a new group of members from the community to fill a leadership role within the organization.

Something people don't know about you? 
I'm a gourmet vegan chef long before there were any great products on the shelves. I've moved 7 times in the last 6 years because I love exploring what life is like living in different types of housing.

What does Moxie mean to you? 
It's giving it your all, demonstrating your resilience, your pep, your nerve. Being willing to do whatever it takes to make your dreams come true!

Something people don't know about you? 
I bodysurfed as a kid growing up in Hawaii. I was a runner in my teens. I played catcher on a softball team in my 20's. I've summited Mt. St. Helens 3 times. I've ridden Cycle Oregon (a 500-mile, week-long bike ride) twice. Basically, I'm a jock.

What does Moxie mean to you? 
Moxie means having the courage to walk (or run or crawl) through the "stuff" to get to where Life is leading you. It means learning new things every day. It means sharing with others in the most generous ways possible. And it means making every decade better than the one before! Moxie means Love.

Something people don't know about you:
I ran a popular "Labyrinth" fan site in the 90s, where my three sequels lived and attracted much fan email over several years. I also worked at LucasArts for a summer in college. Now I write my own web series in my spare time.

What does the word Moxie mean to you? 
Showing up every day determined even more ready to believe in ourselves and reach for that next level. Doing it with a playful spirit and a desire to bring others along with us for the beautiful ride!

Moxie is a sisterhood of women in business friendship & fun.

I have synesthesia. I associate letters and numbers with colors. I just started taking piano lessons!

What does the word Moxie mean to you? 
Moxie means confidence. I learned to go outside my comfort zone and grow my confidence.

Something people don't know about you? 
I'm originally from Brazil and came to the US for the first time when I was 10 years old. I was raised both in Brazil and in the US. I've lived mainly on the East Coast, but then moved to Oregon largely because of a dream I had where the angels carried me to Portland. I'm also a lover of Medieval and Renaissance History, BBC Period Pieces, and anything Jane Austen. 

What does Moxie mean to you? 
It's a mix of confidence, devil-may-care attitude, and spark.

Something people don't know about you? 
I love nearly every genre of music, and can rock out with equal enthusiasm to rock, funk, jazz, soul, R&B, rap, folk, cheesy pop, classical, and yes—even country. Also, if I had it my way, I would dance barefoot and eat Japanese food every day of the week. :)

What does Moxie mean to you? 
Moxie means spirit and soul. It's a fire that I believe lies within every woman—a representation of her true nature of authenticity, wisdom, intuition, and joy. It is an absolute pleasure and privilege to be a part of an organization that helps spread more Moxie in the world!

My husband and I served together in the Peace Corps in Kazakhstan, for two years in a village as English teachers. I'm a sorority girl! I roast my own coffee beans. I love to lift

What does Moxie mean to you? 
Moxie means showing up—online, networking, and just getting out there, even when it stretches you. Because it stretches you. Moxie means knowledge sharing and working with other women from a place of abundance rather than lack. It means knowing there's more than enough work for everyone and that we have a larger purpose - to help each other.

Something people don't know about you? 
I collect cowboy boots and vintage trailers. I play washboard in a country band (plus guitar and ukulele). I use to be called the death queen in my pre-goth music days in San Francisco. 

What does Moxie mean to you? 
Moxie rocks! Connection, community, support, brilliant entrepreneurial women. Work meets pleasure.
